Location: Chennai, India · Hybrid
Contract: Full time
Experience: 4+ years
Posted: May 29, 2026

What you will do

Operate and improve production services across applications, databases, cloud platforms and Kubernetes.
Lead root-cause analysis on recurring incidents and deliver funded permanent fixes to committed dates.
Automate high-toil runbooks and measure the reduction in manual effort.
Define service level objectives with clients and manage error budgets against them.
Participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation with genuine handover, not overnight coverage from one region.

What we are looking for

Four or more years in production operations, SRE or platform support at enterprise scale.
Strong Linux fundamentals and confident scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
Practical experience with observability tooling and with writing useful alerts rather than noisy ones.
Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform or Ansible.
Calm, structured communication during incidents, including with non-technical stakeholders.

Also useful

Oracle or PostgreSQL database operations.
Security operations exposure — SIEM, vulnerability management or patch orchestration.
Chaos engineering or game day facilitation experience.

What we offer

Certification and learning budget
An annual budget for certifications, conferences and courses, with study time protected in delivery planning rather than expected on weekends.
Flexible and hybrid working
Hybrid by default and fully remote for several roles. Client on-site presence is planned in advance, not sprung on you.
Comprehensive health cover
Private medical cover for you and your dependants across all delivery locations, including mental health support.
Humane on-call
Genuine follow-the-sun rotation with compensated call-outs, capped frequency and a hard rule that repeat incidents get fixed rather than absorbed.
Transparent progression
Published competency frameworks per discipline with twice-yearly review, and parallel tracks for technical and management progression.
