Lead functional and technical workstreams on core banking migration programmes for retail and Islamic banking clients across the GCC.

Apply for this role

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates · Hybrid
Contract: Full time
Experience: 8+ years
Posted: July 8, 2026

What you will do

Own the design and delivery of one or more product family migration waves end to end.
Translate existing product behaviour into target platform configuration, including the undocumented edge cases.
Define reconciliation rules and acceptance criteria with the client’s finance and operations teams.
Lead dual-run analysis and drive resolution of reconciliation breaks before wave sign-off.
Mentor consultants and coach client staff so ownership genuinely transfers at programme close.

What we are looking for

Eight or more years in core banking delivery on Temenos, Finacle, FLEXCUBE, Mambu or an equivalent platform.
Direct experience of at least one full migration or implementation from design through to production.
Strong grounding in retail banking products: deposits, lending, interest accrual, fees and limits.
Ability to read and reason about SQL and platform configuration, not only functional documentation.
Comfortable presenting design decisions and risk positions to executive steering committees.

Also useful

Islamic banking product experience including Murabaha, Ijara and profit distribution.
ISO 20022 payments modernisation exposure.
Working Arabic alongside professional English.

What we offer

Certification and learning budget
An annual budget for certifications, conferences and courses, with study time protected in delivery planning rather than expected on weekends.
Flexible and hybrid working
Hybrid by default and fully remote for several roles. Client on-site presence is planned in advance, not sprung on you.
Comprehensive health cover
Private medical cover for you and your dependants across all delivery locations, including mental health support.
Humane on-call
Genuine follow-the-sun rotation with compensated call-outs, capped frequency and a hard rule that repeat incidents get fixed rather than absorbed.
Transparent progression
Published competency frameworks per discipline with twice-yearly review, and parallel tracks for technical and management progression.
